STIFFNESS:
Tranquil matches the stiffness of spinal bone. PEEK doesn’t, it is substantially stiffer than spinal bone. 3D titanium implants are even stiffer than PEEK.
SURFACE:
Tranquil’s chemistry, surface energy, roughness, and texture make it more osteoinductive and more osteoconductive than predicates.
POROSITY:
Tranquil’s pore size, shape, volume and flexibility provides substantially more bone thru-growth than predicates.
